cooking fiasco

Today was a fantastic day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had such a lot of fun......for the most part of it anyway. My dad and i took one look at the lunch we were supposed to be eating and said NO WAY!!!!!!(my cook has conjunstivitis but came to cook for us anyway and well lets just say that the food he cooked confirmed that he was definitely NOT WELL!!!) Well anyway we decided to make a nice little edible meal for our selves and the end result was...................not edible even by my doggy's standards. We tried very unsuccesfully to make pasta soup and noodles-all ready made packet thingy's and even then we screwed up! The soup was past expiry date so was as bitter as hell, the pasta was very much like paysam because it was sweet but still tasting very.....there is no other word for it.....wierd. And then there was the noodles-we managed to burn those so by the end of it was a mass of pasty stuff stuck to the bottom of a vessel.and did i mention it was BLACK!
Well we tried to eat a little bit of everything but when my dad saw me turning a delicate shade of green he decided we better throw all the stuff out. But after doing sooooooooooooo much cooking we were both very very tired so we decided to do the cleaning for later.Unfortunately later never came. My mom came back home and my dad and i had hell to pay. Thats why i started by saying that the day was great for the most part of it. THe cooking part was great but my mom biting both our heads off was kind of a downside.
anyways here is looking forward to more cooking expeditions with my briiliant father [:)]
p.s-In the end me my dad ended up eating the food we had deemed YUCKY!!! I guess we deserved it
